REVISED:

How about being able to purchase special abilities for a vetted unit for a pp cost? Abilities that are decent but not op: battle advantages, smoke abilities, scouting buffs. All small but just a little fun to add some flair to vet. Come up with fun ideas!!

Actually I do agree and kinda don't want this anymore because it makes the leaderboard useless.

Should add vet 3 heavy tanks to buy an ability for 30 mun called carpet smoking, basically T1 blitz smoke ability with the same length as the CCT.

Vet3 infantry should get a single or 2x use of 'nades (lack o' cost). Entails rifles, volks, grens etc etc bla bla bla. Not engies or MGs etc.

There used to be companies in excess of 250 population of all Vet 3

I have a few vet 3 Rifles, could get more, but generally let the low vet ones die to succeed at an objective.

Vet is easy to get.

i remember those days, back when there was lower vet requirements AND we got free +3xp in games, ANNNNNND we got xp for killing support weapons.

I had just remeberd that It was a vet 1 ranger squad that I lost due to eldanesh planting a mine next to it as the squad desperately tried to kill it.  It failed obviously..


Anyways, having extra nades on the unit it meh, we should give it something more visual either like a custom name or something.

Or give 2x use of field dressings, I dunno, just a thought.

Add that to the infantry company unlock (with oversupply t3) and thats 5 revives. You can suicide that squad and just lol revive it afterwords :S.

Unless they get gibbed, in which case you get no revives. Considering that rangers engage tanks frequently based on weapon loadout, this is quite frequent that it happens.
