hi,
trying to play this game, i've encountered this error

i could not install the downloader directly into the game folder because i had OF installed first and the name folder isnt the same, so i had to pasted the program into the game folder. could that be related ?

First, are you using Steam version?

Second, sounds like a firewall error.  Make sure you disable windows firewall or norton internet security when running the launcher.

As long as the EIR_Launcher.exe is in your Opposing Fronts directory, it should work fine (assuming you run it).

Btw; You do need Company of Heros to play EiR.

If you only own Opposing Fronts you CANT play Europa in Ruis yet-
