hey,

I finally reinstalled CoH, but I cant get it working :S

1st, I cannot go to the map thread :

it says this then: "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."

2nd, I installed the installer, logged in and I can start the installer
but when I download a battle it askes me if I want to extract it, the game starts
nothing..........
it isnt even in the replay folder


do I have to add ''-dev'' or ''-modname EuropeInRuins'' in the .exe ? becouse he isnt starting the mos

Dont download battlefiles until you succesfully join a game and start it (everyone readies up).

At that point, download the battle files, start EiR up, and look in the multiplayer lobby for whoevers hosting the game to play.

Yes, vent is EXTREMELY important.

Password for the server is in the war control panel.

You never know when some trolling bugger will grab it and annoy us on vent. I just did that for no reason =P

You want to watch the replay?

At the end of the game (assuming you didnt drop) their should be a "Save Replay" button.

Hit it, type in a name, make sure you have the battle files, and it should be their.
