Can a player with only vCoH gets to play with OF units through this unlock system? And vice versa?

Would this cause EiR to get sued by Relic or anything?

A player with vCoH only shouldn't be able to use the OF units and vice versa.  If they can, it's a bug and completely unintended.

What happens if a unit has 0/1 availability?

1/1 availability?


That rule implies that it would be rounded to 0/0, which sort of defeats the purpose.

Well, you could still buy one even if you have 0/0, can't you? Just means it costs a lot of PP, since every single one will be oversupplied.

Btw, thought for the scorched earth doctrine.

Am I one of the only ones who finds a bit underwhelming that they only get, for unlocks, incendiary grenades on tankbuster and the hummel?

Granted, the Hummel /is/ awesome, but for me it rarely was the core of the scorched earth doctrine. Bringing back the roadblocks(maybe as scorched earth's free unlock... and, for a twist, maybe in the original layed-out-in-lines-rather-than-tank-traps could be interesting to play with as I heard is how they worked in the original release of Opposing Front before patches changed this).

Also, as a replacement of booby traps, maybe regular panzer grenadiers could purchase at a munition costs demolition charges akin to that of commandos(maybe with a hidden when set in cover twist or something of the like. That way defensive lines could be booby trapped with hidden demo charges, to blow in the enemy's face should the need to fall back be needed)?

Just a few minors suggestions like that, if anything.

I disagree, I find it class! It adds a whole new flavour to game play, you really don't know what someone is going to through at you and it gives your company a whole new layer design that never existed before. All in all a really fun and interesting concept.

Yesterday I went up against and Airborne and Commandos blobed by one guy, now that was hard to take down! But I did  Grin

While interesting and original it easily delete the weaknesses of a certain faction. Simply inconsistent.

Adapt and over come, we can all do it, the inherent weakness of any doctrine or faction can now be overcome but only to a certain degree due to availability.

Hey why not an mg for Axis choices, whereas allies get 2 ?

And wouldnt it be better to make them less rigid and more flexible, so people could get the ones that they really want ..?

Also is there a way to try another reinforcement and ditch the current one, of course without getting the pp back.
