Over the course of the next few days we will be selecting a handful of active, experienced members of the community to participate in a new test project. This is the creation of a separate balance platform where those selected members will be able to provide us with their perspectives on balance in a smaller, cleaner and more controlled environment.

This new balance platform will not replacing the public balance forum and we will not value the opinion of these individuals higher than that of any other member in this community. We are merely creating an additional platform in hopes of further enhancing the impact of our community on balance and game play related matters.

These individuals will not be a part of 'a balance team', they are merely advisers.

Again, I would like to stress that these individuals will at best supplement the community input, not replace it.

Just a heads up as we did not feel like we should keep this a secret from you.
This project will run for a few weeks after which we will evaluate and decide upon its future.

I vote AMPM, Aloha, Bigdick and Mysthalin for special "balance council" which will have the last word and veto in matters of wehrmacht by majority vote, meaning they will all agree on the changes they propose which give them the emperors right and none can deny the emprah.

i didn't' see my name suckers. I'm one of the least bias in terms of balance on the forum. I play both sides and am more interested in making a good game than my own preferences. I have a lot of time on my hands for the moment and I think i can be a lot of help.

Well it's going to be a selection rather than by popular vote, but I'd think gamesguy and pqumsieh seem to have a decent handle on balance if my opinion matters.

On a more serious note, I'd nominate Misten and Pak for being longtime players on both sides of the fence, and Ucky because when he makes a thread he's always very detailed in his propositions PQ seems pretty fair headed as well spotting problematic stuff. I think the majority of the community is eligble for this tbfh, it's just that most people probably doesnt necessarily always fully type out their thoughts and what facts they base their thoughts on.

I'd also vouch for gamesguy because he understands the units very well and always tries to back up his arguements with facts. Theres so many level headed individuals who play eirr it just becomes somewhat a clusterfuck at the forums sometimes since some evil individuals (sarcasm) tries to have fun sometimes.

I personally dont know who to nominate. A lot of the guys you have all nominiated, rather than Pq and ucky and misten all tend to use the most OP thing they can find on each side and I dont know if I can trust them not to want to keep those things in tact so they can keep winning.

Pak, I dunno. He hasn't made a lot of friends lately. We're cool friends but he can be a real ass at times but he knows the game really well, almost as good as smokaz.

What about mudkips, he's a pretty good player and plays both sides, mainly ami and pe I've seen.

Mary I'd definitely go for, always seems level headed and always puts up great arguments.
