I think the Hellcat avail change is interesting, I'll still buy them hands down over M10's due to the M10 misfire bug never being fixed. Its just not a reliable unit.

Poor Shermans, upgun price brought down, overall price increased, makes it even worse of a purchase.

lawl; puma price decrease? Should be interesting to see more puma spam; i know i'll be maxing out on them myself. And upgun is too cheap; its more powerful then an M8 yet it cost about 80-90 fewer munitions. I think repairs went up globably to make them less cost effective. Which is fine, but I seriously think the 50 cal upgrade on some tanks/vehicles should go down. M18 and M8 come straight to mind; for a light vehicle the 50 cal is way to expensive, but necissary to give it the AI it needs. No one buys 50 cal on M18 because it might break ambush, so it doesnt matter what the price is tbh.

Don't think sherman needed a repair increase, no way a sherman should cost the same as a P4 to repair. but i guess it's to balance the upgun decrease, which just hurts players who don't use the upgun.

i think the puma upgun lack of munitions is to help deal with light vehicles?

but ill go out on a limb and say US must of needed the nerf since they are doing so good early war???

They're both medium tanks and with the 76mm upgun they stand toe to toe. The unupgunned probably should only cost 40 Munitions to repair but we can't differentiate repair kit prices based on the upgrade.

It's a general across the board price increase on repairs, with the amounts of fuel players have at their disposal we do not feel like they should be able to get a '2nd life' on all those vehicles as well.

It's a seperate vehicle now, there's no reason why it should cost munitions anymore.
It's price was brought in line with the M8, for now... further assessment may be necessary.

I don't think these are real nerfs. The only real nerf is the M18 price, it's the first time we're touching that since it was implemented and I don't think you can argue that the M18 gives you a better bang for your buck (ability to cloak and first strike bonus) compared to the M10.

Further pricetuning will follow either way.

@Riki:
Tell me if you think those repair prices are balanced:
P4: 50Mun
Cromwell: 40Mun
Sherman: 30Mun

Check this link about the early war

BTW: Churchill MKIV still 40mun repair? Intented or forgotten?

@ PQ:
British Staghound 50cal: 75Mun; Repair: 30Mun
Now whats with that?

So with the new prices, with no advantages, I have my Blitz company to try out.

4 STuGs, all upgrades
3 Upgun Puma w/ Repair
3 Puma w/ Repair
2 Ostwinds

Enough Infantry and a ton of support spam to go with it.

And Unknown, if you would FIX the M10's little problem, it would far and away be better than the M18. Why ambush when you can do the same with the M10 by just rolling up and backing off. It penetrates a hell of a lot better anyway and removes the need to use a T4 to cover up the lack of penetration. Then I could just use OBM and kill heavy tanks....I might just do that anyway. Too bad we have to grind up companies to test out this stuff still, since it didn't all get checked in the "testing" phase.

Ucky, I just built that company.

Once I get some resources into it I will pick up more heavy AT by swapping STuGs for Panthers, and then using the leftover fuel for Flammenwerfers. The MP and MU will go towards more PAKs.

I think the cromwell should be less then the sherman, but the sherman should be less then the P4, i feel that sherman repair should of gone up to 40, not 50. i also agree that the hellcat needed to cost a little bit more, and the availability decrease was fine, but i would of enjoyed seeing a .50 price decrease for it and the m8. .50 on the HC should be 25-30MU, also now with upgun puma costing no mu, i feel that there should be a price decrease on m8 skirts, but we will have to see how it works out. how does something go from costing 50mu to 0mu?

either way, it will be good to see more pumas over all on the field.

and yeah upgun puma is specialized, but it will always beat any american light vehicle, is tough to hit, and now i need to get ride of some light vehicles and replace them with MGs with AP rounds, because that's about the most reliable counter to an upgun puma. plus upgun puma is fantastic at sniping infantry, so it doesn't really lose any of its AI ability. I mean if puma upgun is free and it makes it more specialized, then isn't my sherman that i upgun a bit more specialized as well? puma takes about as big of a hit to AI power as sherman does with an upgun, which isn't too big of a difference.

On this subject, all light vehicles are getting their 'received accuracy' vet 1 bonus swapped to 'received damage' in the new vet list. This vet list will be going in ASAP. (Modifier changes were part 1)

The puma upgun makes the puma a lot worse against infantry. I don't think a comparison with the Sherman 76mm is in order.

Anyway, we will be monitoring the puma closely, don't worry about it.
Things are easily 'hotfixed' when it comes to pricing issues. For now however I'm not convinced there's an actual issue in the first place.
