The real problem is that against infantry it has shitty accuracy, then factor in moving targets and that whole accuracy thing gets thrown out the fucking window and the gunner just closes his eyes and fires randomly. I mean .4 accuracy against elite/heroic armor means that moving rangers play dodgeball with the stuh shells. Accuracy to .75 across the board would make it a tad more scary.

No wonder why Heroic Chuck Norrises and Arnold's catches up my StuH undamaged xD
If it was increased to 0.75 StuH would be over spammed and no infantry spam would reach it...It would hurt then but would be a useful tank if it was increased xD now its just a laugh mainly. "Oo lookie a Stuh! Lemme send my M10 after it or my ranger spam then its kaboom for it"
Hell Tiger's Splash Damage is better than StuH42s mainly because it is more accurate, Heat Round Tiger vs Ranger blob 2 Rangers left with slithery of health
Heat Round StuH42 vs Ranger Blob, Ranger blob might lose one man thats where StuH42 blows up

stuh isn't an anti infantry weapon. It's anti emplacement, anti building and anti support weapon. If you're using it against only infantry you're not using it with how useful it is. Just like howitzers are really devastating vs building and you only use it vs infantry if they blog, same thing with stuh.

A Stuh42 is a little bit expensive for that what it does. Not in fuel but in menpower. It is close to a PanzerIV in menpower and doesnt kill inf better then a panzerIV. It has a huge weakness against any hard target  AT units and against airbornes with recoiless. It dies quick to AT guns.

The most annoying thing of the stuh42 is that its not possible to fire a shell over a building or a hedge. It starts to fire by itself but always hit the hedge. That seems a little bit buggy.

It's capabilities to kill infantry is not the best. It give some great explosions and stuff but without doing much damage (except to buildings).

.75 may be too much but hey if I can sticky it with rifles who have .75 I don't think it's too accurate.

i already said what it's used for, against hardened targets, people tend dto forget that it's not a tank and that it's a mobile artillery unit that's good against things that are sitting still and not moving. If you use the stuh against anything but infantry and tanks, you'll do great. Buildings, emplacements, support weapons, the Stuh rocks.

which is the same for the m8 on the allies side, sux vs inf but except as an annoyance but is great vs support weapons and getting that super powerful mine down.

Not mobile arty, its an Assault Gun, its purpose is to support an infantry advance by destroying any and all hard defenses.

Ya except those numbers mean jack shit because its classified as an artillery weapon rather than a ballistic weapon.

Accuracy modifiers matter a lot less to an artillery gun.   The primary problem with the stuh is its inability to hit moving anything.  Double the projectile speed and it will be fine.

Unlike in retail, the stuh is not overpriced in this mod.

its still basically mobile artillery and yeah, like i was saying, its good vs infantry but hard dto hit 'em when moving, use it against support weapoins, bunkers, emplacements and buildings.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

A Calliope, Nebel, or Stuka is a mobile piece of artillery, the STuH42 is most definatley and assault gun. Its range is short, any arc the round may have is minimal, its sole purpose is close range support of an attack or defense.

Its the anti-infantry/building/emplacement version of the STuG.

+ 15 % range, + 20% cost, sounds fair.
But decrease firerate.
Seriously, StuHs are one of the strongest Infantry support vehicles ingame.

I'll combine my Stuh with a Nebel and then I'll roll in and crush those measily crawling allied worms under my treads.
A schrecksquad will provide neccecary cover.
