Im actually wondering how a Cromwell CCt and a Luitenant gain xp?

I mean yes you can charge them into the Enemy but with a Luitenant, he dies way to quickly

Do these units gain XP from being attached to a squad/tank and then the unit there attached to kills stuff?

Anything within their aura that gets XP shares some XP with them, so yes.

i thought you guys had turned that off? or did you figure out how to put it back in without officers getting all the vet of the units around them when they spawn?

we've mustve fixed it. Tongue

Im pretty sure XP sharing is still in effect, but ive never seen what you describe. Our LTs certainly dont gain XP by killing stuff.

yeah, it was an issue we had. i noticed all our officers getting lol WTF amounts of XP on the leaderboard, so i had a look into it and it turned out that the vet units were assigned at the start of a game were being donated to any officer in range.

to test it you can leave a shared XP unit at the spawn and see if he vets up at all when high xp units come on field

although i guess your vet locking system where you have to buy higher levels would mitigate this somewhat
