Can one of you stat gurus tell me how a Vet 2 marder is able to survive a direct hit from a lancaster bomb ?
Ray will attest to this or short of that i can post a replay of it happening.

Short of it, bomb landed less then 2m from the Marder who survived with <5% hp and a destroyed main gun crit.

i might can answer without checking the RGDs

if HP fall under 5% then there is a Crit roll. Well this roll can be "out of control" "make wreck" and "maingun destroyed" its pretty similar to any other gunhit.

V1 and lancaster should have a 100% killcrit. It just seems...retarded for something to survive that blast, especially an open topped marder rofl

It did do a crit. You were unlucky that it critted the weapon rather than killed the unit.

looking into the RGD's it has a damage multiplier for most vechs of 2, and curiously some are 1.
The marder is one of such vechs to have a 1x dmg multiplier.

Even still it should have a 100% crit ratio.

Lancaster landed dead center on my open topped marder, destroyed gun, rolled away like a boss.

You know, the Marder has always been a finicky little shitbag.

It always seems to get a destroyed gun rather than death at 5%, and last time I checked it's criticals were the same as everything else...

Yeah, armour criticals.

But anyhow, the V1/Lanc has a 20% chance to destroy maingun rather than make wreck/out of control vehicles (40% for each of those making 80% chance to destroy).

Beats me why that crit even exists though.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

i should report that ray repaired his marder
it then got more kills, another destroyed gun and pulled off.

The CoH engine is a fickle mistress, kinda to none cruel to all.
