Not strictly about europe in ruins, but we want all the support we can get here -

Carpe Diem Chapter 0 is an online petition aiming to get a company to bring the game Carpe Diem back into production.

Anyway, before I ask you to sign it, which I will, I'll talk about the game, and the reasons for its demise.

Carpe Diem was an MMORPG where the main aim was to defeat Uzziel the Evoker, the evil tyrant. This was done by achieving high levels, and then questing, with your regiment (sort of like a guild in other games), through four dungeons to get the weapons of ledgend. When you had all 4 weapons, you could directly challenge Uzziel. However, the biggest difference in this game was that Uzziel, the tyrant, was played by a real person at Persistent Worlds, so you always had unscripted gameplay.

Anyway, on th why I'm explaining this. Around January, Persistent Worlds ceased trading. And thus Carpe Diem faded from existence. But now the community has rallied and put forward a petition that another game company will take notice. But also, one of the CEOs of Persistent Worlds has agreed to approach GNIsoft if we get enough signatures.

A news report is here - http://www.mpogd.com/news/?ID=2601

A user mad video of the "End Of The World" event, such attack were common - http://youtube.com/watch?v=tyt7zfY8xHw

Even if you dislike MMORPGs, I urge you to try this one. The community is absolutely brilliant. And some of them say it's better than WoW. It IS a great game, and I urge you to support their cause.
