this is a Salan rework of the Point Du Hoc map.  Back when we did TLS we tried one with adjusted spawns by Kolath, but it had never been resectored and the spawn areas on the beach were never modified to represent the forces needing to move through them.

I have removed the tank traps from around the spawn areas on the beach to allow freedom of movement for those troops.  Reworked the sectors throughout the map.  Mathematically it should be even based on where I assume people will end up fighting the most.

this is a beta and more / less sector reworking will continue in the next version.

#1 spawn is more between the entrance it is at, and the one to the north of it.

the beaches will never get captured by the north, too close to spawns
alternately the spawns are too close to chokepoints

maybe a ramp on the left edge of the beach there it meets the map's edge would help.

did you guys count the sectors?  if i remove any more it'll make the ones there huge and much harder to have them swap back and forth.

I'll look at it again, but it is actually based more on where the spawns are, where each side should have how many sectors under their control, and the ones that should be in contension through fighting and EASIER to swap.

i'm not going to make gigantic ones where they swap.  But I might combine a few of the beach ones if it turns out there are too many for that side.

each side should have the same amount of sectors that will rarely change hands, and the fighting sectors are balanced through the center of the map
