It seems Piats in BCs very favourite.
Nobody uses 25p or almost any static defenses.
emplacements die to offmaps and every shrek and 25pound is just a waste of resources atm, vickers are cheap but cant relocate (sitting duck for every mortar)
mortar pits and bofors are used sometimes because they are somehow needed.
but all emplacements often get destroyed completly and cant be remanned so they arent really worth their price

A few downfalls however to PIAT sappers are that they are weak and have relatively low health, and the fact that the riflemen in the squad are completely useless and youll struggle against pretty much everything. the PIATs are also horribly inaccurate against infantry and also moving targets.
The BC takes care of those disadvantages: it protects the sappers and lets you block vehicles to let your sappers have a better shot. And with some micro you can drive around like crazy and just let the piats shoot, e.g. circle strafe a marder.
