well that pretty useless in a commado base tree then, why use saper for piats when you have piat commados and I dont use more than 3 toomies with brens so a t 4 for just 3 squads nice. So this promotes a non commado base battallion in a commando docterine, go figure.

You should always have more Tommies than commandos, they are not meant to be used as mainline inf.

But I agree, seems kind of out of place for commandos, should be moved to RE or RCA.

What people fail to realize is just because the name of your doctrine is "infantry"/"commando" or "airborne" DOESNT MEAN THAT YOUR ENTIRE COMPANY NEED TO CONSIST OF COMMANDOS ONLY, ENDLESS AND ENDLESS WAVES OF AIRBORNE DROPPING LIKE BACTERIA ..*snip*
Hell, companies like this just end up getting super raped by a equally one-dimensional company that happen to be the antimatter to your matter.

LOLz, no i have a mix of units, but not in suffient amounts APPARENTLY!
Commandos can do that, mortor, mgs, piat and mandos that four squads and they can pretty much fill you company up.

It's not that we make commandos only companies, but you want to have some in your company to use them for full effect.
4 Commandos will cost alot, use 2 Piat commandos and a commando sniper and thats half your company.
Your ranger only company didn't do that bad in the past did it

Then again rangers were cheaper than commandos, and better 0.o
You could gear them up with thompsons/zooks exactly how you needed, and thompson only rangers were the best assault infantry in the game.
+ they came with the best healing in the game
So it wasnt one dimensional, it was part of a logisticly supported infantry tactic.
If the ranger system had survived to date, it would be even more viable as you could pick up "stacked" +4 rangers and reapers for decent zooks.
Piat commandos just arent that awesome against people who know what they are doing, imo sappers are much worse as they can cloak in cover and take 2 members without their at capabilities being affected (compared to 1 piat commando) + now they are getting zeal. I dont even wanna think about how much damage a cloaked 2 man zeal piat squad is gonna do to a p4.. or how fast the volleys are gonna come.
But yeah, I understand your point. I just think that people are not going to try to fight your mandospam with infantry at all, people will learn your ways and youll get flammenwerfers/tanks in the face. Once they stop engaging your spam with the unit type they are intended to counter, you're fucked.

Zeal only affects Tommy squads btw so Piats won't benefit.

Well thats just plain unfair then, if british zeal was implemented (i think its just stealing from terror) it should affect sappers too

It's just a little weird that commandos get fewer buffs than tommies in the doctrine. If it were either tommies or commandos - so you could choose to buff either tommies or go commando - then it would be more viable imo.
