Can someone explain its current stats and the stats of the m10.

I'm being surprised by its combat effectiveness when with/against it.

then why on earth does it deflect shots from paks and take so little damage from P4s and penetrate so often?

Sigh...

Users sometimes feel that the whole Dev team changes stats on purpose right before their game starts and then they come here like 10 year old kids who believe they can take on everyone because they just simply are right and nobody can prove them wrong. From now on a rage thread/post will be moderated on sight, do us a favor and take a cold bath before posting after a bad game please, we all have had bad games but that doesn't allow us to rage in the forums.

The only change from vCOH is that M18s can be detected when cloaked.
There may be doctrine abilities in play affecting the M18 but please don't blindly accuse us of altering game stats without telling you  Roll Eyes

This is NOT a valid balance concern.
Next time please do a proper write up and support your claims with sufficient evidence.

As an aside,  If you went up against a doctrine buffed M18 (i did yesterday and they raped my panther) then what you described happens.  It's the combo of tungsten tipping and AP rounds T4 that cause it to penetrate so often.  Also I think they get a health buff in one of the doctrine selections giving the impression that they "take so little damage."  They just have more life.

And this from Mysthalin:
the pak has a base penetration of 0.84 vs M10 armour(which the M18 uses), meaning
hat it will penetrate all the time at close range, but at medium range it falls down to 0.755, and at long range to a further 0.71
meaning that it will bounce 1 in 4 shots

It's better to say that there is 25% chance to deflect every pak shot.

Not that it will bounce 1 in 4 shots, cuz it can bounce 3 in a row or penetrate all the time, I don't remeber when last time my m10 bounced pak shot or even m18.

CoH engine is like russian roulette.
