difference between 55 health of volks and 65 health of tommies
Volks have 60 health per man, not 55. Riflemen have 55.
Please don't resort to theory-crafting of that magnitude - I think we both realise how silly it is to assume you could charge an MG into an enemy blob and actually hope to survive with it long enough to set up - let alone pinning said blob.
Soldier armour helps against rifles and MP40s - a 0.75 recieved damage buff, equals a 1.33 percent health buff, while making you more succeptible to LMG42s (more recieved moving accuracy), flamethrowers and a good ammount of various explosives. It is quite good if the enemy uses mainline infantry to kill off your support weapons - but if he relies on flamethrowers or, per say, a P4, I'd much rather have the 55 health per man, infantry armour riflemen crewing the ATG, as they're noticeably cheaper.
Depends on whether or not you compare them to americans or wehr
I compared them to both. Wehr weapons are slightly more costly, but they're quite a bit more powerful, as well.
