do it better vs unknownz + elitegrens vet3 army tbh
its completely different to watch a replay and judge somebodys fail 'micro' or do it yourself.

Whats wrong with capping M8's?

Nothing. But somethings wrong with capping T17s.

wrong it is some kind of the same issue since m8 have the same epic dodge the same infantry killing power (with mg) and are same role of fast harressment units that can kill and cap in the back

companies like 20 M8 with OBM and mobility was nuts in old eir

Smokaz play was fail at several points no doubt. But you have to consider he knew what he had to expect, lots of tanks/T17s from Unknown and lots of infantry from Elitegren, that probably made him call in wrong things.
Maybe he tried to preserve his AT for Unknownz Vet 3 Pershing that no doubt would have been a bitch to kill.

And I just would like to see you playing against them. I am sure you can teach us some things (no sarcasm).

Well, I'm going out of town in about 20 minutes until Friday, so maybe then.  I'm not claiming to be a god, but the Axis play in this replay wasn't exactly inspiring.  To be honest, I would love to see them play against Wildsolus and Demon or WCM tellerspam company.

Im not gonna argue that I played perfect in this replay, but one player is just moving a vehicle around and I am trying to turn paks, recrew, call in more shit because of lightning war being a "push push push" choice. And its no mistake on my part to attempt to backcap with what I have.

That said I have completely redone my Blitz now. I am going to make serious attempts at showing how you can chase down this OBM shit and end the life of t17s for all, if I cant do this I'm gonna be continueing a crusade to give Wehrmacht some kind of reliable mobile vehicle disabler like the other factions have

Most of the time AT guns hit my M8 and usually 3 shot it (w/skirts;maybe just bad rolls for me?). It fairs pretty good with tanks, usually the speed of the M8 can usually get out of range of a perusing P4 usually misses, but sometimes gets the hit.
Thats just my experience with the dodge of the M8 though.

This replay is a prime example of three things (IMO):

1. The difficulty of killing T17s and the amount of beating they can take.

2. T17s ability to kill stuff quickly.

3. The power of repair upgrades. 

I'm building myself an armor company after i type this.  Cool

No seriously, I agree with both of you to a certain extent
Smokaz/Pak weren't playing their best game, they made a large amount of mistakes which contributed no doubt to a significant amount of losses (leading up to Smokaz' annhilation at the 17 minute mark) but I quite honestly don't think many people would've been able to do any better given those circumstances. The T17 is still an amazing unit, even without stun. I would even argue it's still too good.

Btw, there were only two T17s, but the amount of time they remained alive thanks to field repairs and OBM was amazing. (I did get a little lucky now and then, for example against the ostwind)

Regardless, T17s should be judged on their contributions to gameplay. Even if they shot multicolored water-baloons out of their exhaust pipes, if it meant the allies were a fun and interesting faction to play then all the better.

Personally, I dislike its mechanics. Hell, get rid of it and have an M8 variant that shoots a phosphorous round if stun needs to stay. But I think the balance team is doing their best to make light vehicles fit in between Infantry/Tanks in terms of firepower and survivability.

or just turn it into the staghound, get rid of the fast firing gun, may solve a bit of the issue on it.. may not be used as much etc.
