Hey whoever was in the specia balancel asscave that kept saying the Captain bonus is nothing worth speaking of.. Look at captain bonus making british infantry soak up 2-3 bursts of mg42 at long range without getting supressed.. guess that 50% bonus IS kinda useful after all.

God I hate being right all the time.. its very early in, on the first engagement to the left. They are even standing in the open. Yes the bursts are centered on the captain but guess what, mg42s have AoE effect on their supression so if that was a tommy squad or something taking the hits but with the captain elsewhere in the sector, they'd still not be supressed.

Poor hasek had a horrible streak against brn.. first he loses his core without doing much, then he calls on a halftrack with 2 vet 2 lmgs in it, loses them without doing anything, then calls on a stug.. proceeds to get it buttoned had to switch to watch jinker&computer after that, was too much for my fragile mind.

You had 2 flamers man, why not mortar smoke and rush the brit? He had nothing but piats effective in smoke.. jesus.

Was a good game overall, if axis had been a little more conservative in their attempts to break left-med it could have been theirs. They lost too much infantry in rushes without accomplishing much.,
