my pounder killed 3 tanks and get vet 1 but it did not seem as vet 1 on battalion screen...

is there a way to gain exp with them or not because when I clicked to quit button on the game and it turned to 3 squad team and lost its vet...

i think you need to keep it on the field until the end of the game.

if you retreat it, it will have the vet it had be4 the game.

at least thats how it is for 25 pdr.

Emplacement vet is broken at the moment, unit needs to survive until the end of the the game in order to keep its experience. It's on the to-do fix list.
