I don't personally have it, but from what i've seen:
1. Expensive
2. High damage
3. Long range sniping
4. Dies fast to any form of AT
5. No recrewing

I don't really think it's worth it

Although with repair and rapid fire it's still pretty expensive munitions wise.  A lot more powerful than a pak though.

The main thing id like to know is if its an intelligent choice to get the geschutz with rolling thunder specialization. I just wish the geschutz had a bit more survivability. The stug survives longers and that is saying alott lol. And the geschutz costs 60 additional fuel (200). So not too sure if its cost effective

Yeah the tooltip has been outdated for quite some time now, you are better off using the price list on the website if you want to look up stuff.

Anyway, I'm not sure if the Geschutz even works with rolling thunder, I'd personally just spam P4s with it.

Point taken. Hm well i was thinkin that maybe a rolling thunder geschutz would make a purely AT unit more versitle (with mg upgrade) and more survivable

It seems to bounce off shermans quite often though.

Do you mean the geschutz deflecting the sherman shots, or the other way around?

The first option.

Geschutz is good if supported correctly by other piece of at, and ofcourse it need lot of micro.

geschutz shells have 50% chanse of bouncing off sherman armour at long range.
pak 38 shells have 36% chanse to bounce.
but the geschutz has 0.1 more accuracy at long range and does 35 more damage than the pak.

geschutz can be great if used correctly. get the attention of a tank with some throwaway unit, next leth the geschutz target it from long range. be sure to protect the geschutz with an mg in case AT inf rushes in, and keep it away when your opponent has AT guns. try to unman the AT guns, the geschutz will be able to snipe them down fast then.
good scouting and a clear line of fire is key.
