I never really liked those maps. Put too much emphasis on one spot and the rest of the map was neglected.

Not to mention the problems that arose when the map was unbalanced, like convent. (I think that map had the OCP function)

I like the idea, I just dont think that the whole game (pop cap) should hindge on 3 or 4 sectors. The system we have is much better to regulate pop and territory control.

We should reintroduce that OCP system but with different benefits, as a layer over the system we have now. Certain sectors should be worth more. i can live with that.

would be easier to just use VP points of some sort.  Could scar code in different types of objectives like holding a house to tick the vps or something (i'm trying to work on this idea for fof, if i get it myself i'll put the scar up for eir to just intigrate if they want)  would be able to use normal sectors for population as is, and flow of battle, but the objective fighting would still be centered where it would if it was OCP.

Hmm maybe make the timer abit longer and have the objectives mainly on the opposing side of the map (not to far in) so that people don't end up sitting on the halfway line and waiting for something to happens or people doing litte panzy attacks into enemy territory!

Wat about VIP missions with like a road u have to take a radicously strong unit and protect it all the way say like a tiger or Pershing and opposing team gets to set up on either side of road but can't go too close to it or they will get arrows.

Scenarios is an extension for after release (ver 1.000, we're at 0.800)

It was planned to be a co-op version (solo play as well) - we're you would play / face the AI or an enemy team with less players (similar to 3v2s assaulting a fort in other RTS games).
Which would pop up from time to time on the warmap.

Completely concept - but lots of the stuff from this thread could easily make its way in.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.
