there are some world objects around that cause some rly bad pathing issues sometimes. how about we fix this?

civilian cars & delivery trucks cant be crushed by medium tanks:  (attrib\attrib\ebps\environment\art_ambient\objects\vehicles\civilian)
barbed wire & sandbags cant be crushed by light vehicles  (attrib\attrib\ebps\environment\art_ambient\objects\defenses)

also check line_of_sight_ext\is_shot_blocking
attrib\attrib\ebps\environment\art_ambient\objects\vehicles\civilian\burnt_bus_01.rgd
for example is shot blocking, really annoying.

while you're at it, also give deliverytruck_01.rgd and deliverytruck_02.rgd heavy cover.

anyone know other objects?

btw, if these pathing issues are fixed there is no reason for 6p carentan not to come back Wink

attrib\attrib\ebps\environment\art_ambient\objects\defenses\concrete\dragon_02.rgd

making those two destructible and crushable will make bocage a lot more playable

all wooden barrels in there, shouldnt they be able to be crushed by light vehicles?

these aren't really used a lot in maps, but still a clock that cant be crushed by a halftrack? right Tongue

there are some logs in here that cant be crushed by light vehicles, better fix that.

hah i made the civilian car garisonable in one of FOF's versions .. you could walk up to it, get in and drive around lol!

alas... I took it out cuz it was too funny

attrib\attrib\ebps\environment\art_ambient\objects\base_perimeter\cement_blocks (both types)
they dont block any units at all, even infantry can walk trough them.

attrib\attrib\ebps\environment\art_nature\trees_l\groves (pines & simples)
have different issues, check if they get deleted when dead(they shouldnt) and block units & shells.

there are also cover giving objects that can die but wont get deleted like trenches and train carts.
what happens is that if they die their cover gets removed but the object is still there with all its other characteristics the same.
the best thing to do would be to somehow make them invincible just before they die so they wont lose their cover when dead but can still get damaged states. this  might be quite impossible, in that case maybe its better to simply make them invincible all the time to make sure they never lose their cover?

it also might be better if this one doesnt block shots:

nvm about this, it seems that if u edit even one object inside the ebps folder it breaks everything made impassable in a map (if the edited object is on that map)
