Player victory after 'defence' time

Ok, me and another player set up a match, and I join through the EIR launcher, we both download the game files and the EIR launcher says that all the files are downloaded and if I want to start EIR now. So we set up a server, we load up and I have my standard 3 minutes to deploy defences and whatnot.
However as soon ass the 3 minutes is up and the attacker is allowed to place units, before he can do anything the victory message comes up.
I have no clue if I'm doing something wrong or anything else??

this is caused by a few possible reasons.
did you put your company into platoons, basicly you were KILLED because you had no units.
Did you use the right profile? including CAPITAL letters (if your profile on EIR is hatcher and your relic online profile is Hatcher (capital H) you will die due to loss of units every game because the profiles don't match.
hmm
think that covers it basically.

Make sure both of you signed up on the War Control Panel using your exact Relic Online name, CASE SENSITIVE. It looks like to me that's the issue. You can post your most recent scarlog.txt from My Document\My Games\Company Of Heroes\Logfiles if you want me to double-check...

If you open it, it'll say EuropeInRuins - OnInit or something to that effect...

Two things, he didn't have his troops in platoons, or his name Vonstilton doesn't match what he typed for his Relic profile name exactly.

It was his name: Vonstilton
He had it as: vonstilton
Capitalization matters. You'll have to abandon that battle and create another.
It is fixed.
