Hetzer Ambush can do a decent first strike on a Pershing but in a shot swap the Hetzer gets smashed. With the upgrade though you can outrange the Pershing easily and should attempt to use that benefit.
Also every piece of PE AT in that game was a 50mm or a Hetzer. No Marders what so ever. Marders do a great job against Pershings(assuming you can actually see the 60 range) They loaded up on 50mm's because they wanted Hetzers and P4 IST based companies.
If a Pershing is your concern take a Treadbreaker LATHT. when he brings on a Pershing you bring on Treadbreaker. AT nades are also only 20mu.
More Marders!
0.321 Penetration against the Pershing armor type. 0.8 Penetrating modifier for being at long range. Is this wrong? I don't see how the 75mm marder can hump the pershing outside of lockdown, and thats a extremely dangerous position to be in. It also has no hold fire and will open up on anything else, just like the 50mm. Btw there needs to be a tooptip update for the marder lockdown, or somewhere to retrieve that data in EIRR. We changed it. I can't remember what it is.

The High deflection damage at 60 range is a good deterrent regardless of lockdown

Neither of them had anything except a jagdpanther to actually reliably engage my pershing, there wasn't much they could do.

when tank hunters will be added the APCR will give 100% "APCR Rounds: +35% Penetration +20% Damage vs all Vehicles Double Crit Chances/100% Kill at Red"

Which solves the problem with a single T4, but leaves gameplay outside of tank hunters and specific high penetration choices for PE really bad.

The rate of Fire that Marders and 50mm's enjoy is enough deflection damage to drop health reliably. It's not fantastic and I'm all in favour of more variation between the Marder and 50mm.
However, PE players can still fight Pershings effectively you just need the proper tools in a company to begin with. 50mm overload works great when fighting Regular tanks but the 50mm doesn't get any modifiers like a Pak it trades Ambush for mobility which against a Pershing isn't as usefull. You'd need to field 3-4 at a single time to reliably deal with a Pershing. Which when you considering the population, isn't efficient, but it works. Sometimes thats all you need with EiR

David and Wind... really? Think I best hear their story before I believe it...
They spammed ATGs at the beginning. I thought we should muscle it out and trade unit for units but take our their ATGs. Wind thought we should be cautious, bad co-ordination ensued and we got punished for it. I don't think Pershings were the main problem in this game, earlier use of Wind's jagd could've killed them both. No our problem was with bad teamwork against the ATG spam and a fatal mistake near the end by me with my IST
