But you see, that Dark ages song from Two Steps from hell doesnt mean anything to anyone. It sounds washed out and not exciting, not to mention that I would have to butcher it to get it to a minute long.
When I think of those dark heavy intros like that, I think of Red Alert's "Hell March" which only worked because it had strong connotations of soviet forced marches and repression, with the commissar shouting every so often. The score does stuff in "Hell March." The army that marches to that song has got to be stopped or it consumes the world.
Im not condemming the artist. I actually quite like this one from them. It's called "Armada"
