What is this. Bug is getting fixed next patch, you are not supposed to be getting Thompsons when you buy Bazookas, people. I thought it was obvious but lolk

Okay, what the hell is your problem Elitegren, locking the other thread.  I'm taking issue with the fact that a SINGLE SMG (note ONE, not 5 or 6 that Speigas claims) is a good concession to a bazooka upgrade choice for rangers.   This is a T3 choice that gives +1 SMG on an upgrade.  Also, it made a decent T3 concession to going AI instead of AT with Tank Reapers.  By removing said 'bug', you can only get the +1 SMG on a very specific upgrade choice for rangers (being the SMG only option).  You can't take advantage of it with full package and the bazooka choice gave it a little more 'oomph' but the squad still gets floored by assault squads designed to rape infantry.

well i agree with you that the t3 would be sorta useless but if i remember correctrly that falls doctrine allso has that but dose not give it to upgrades

For Luft you mean T3 Improved Logisitics?  It works and hence how I can get 75 Anti Tank rifles in this company.

The falls get an extra weapon with all their purchases (ATRs, Rifle Nades, or G43s), since they only get ONE upgrade option to choose from.  Rangers get 3 options (and only two real options being bazookas and SMG), which now two of them have been excluded. There are no rangers with BARs or LMGs that they can buy.  Now if it said +1 Bazooka or SMG, I can justify it (get 3 bazookas in a bazooka only squad, or 5 smgs for SMG only squad, full package is wasted as the squad is capped).

My problem? Those annoying gits who keep going on about unintended side effects of abilities (also known as bugs) because it would nerf their companies and they got used to a bug.

Listen now. You think you should get an SMG on any upgrade, yeah? Well that's not how its going to work. What you will get is an extra SMG if you choose to buy SMGs. You also only get an extra BAR if you buy BARs. Got it? I can even change the Launcher ability description in the SQL for you if you like if you wanna complain about it being poorly worded.

I suggest you better not open another thread on this bug. Something bad is going to happen if that is going to be the case. It is noted and is slated for a fix next patch.
