Everyone discusses DPS like it's the be all and end all of all stats. This makes me laugh.
In comparing two guns that work under the same basic premise (shoot bullets at a singular enemy soldier with short time periods between the shots until the soldier drops dead) DPS IS indeed the be all end all of stats.
Of course, comparing something like the DPS of calliope to the BAR would be retarded. But in this case it's valid.
