now, let's move on from the chewbacca and down the this video. It's an interactive life-sized hologram. Granted, all it is is a static 3d hologram with a small animation playing (and a bunch of hologram particles that look kick-ass) but it's still pretty neat. Image what we'll have in 10 years (US).

fake. if you watch a littler close you can see theres some sort of "screen" on which the "hologram" gets projected. at one point if you look to the floor you can see a thin white line where it starts.

Nah it's not fake, I read about it in a science magazine about a year back, it uses a screen with some new technological materials in it.

well, if it uses screen its a projection. a hologram afaik, per defintion is projected into mid-air without the use of a screen in the first place.
