Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

secretly negotiated by a small "club" of like-minded countries
(39 countries, including the 27 of the European Union, the United States, Japan, etc). Negotiated
instead of being democratically debated
, ACTA bypasses parliaments and international organizations to dictate a repressive logic dictated by the entertainment industries.
I don't think Europe is the democratic wonderland that you make it out to be.

Actually it is, since you elected the heads of state that make all the important decisions in the EU (by majority vote on most issues bar some 'sensitive topics') AND the members of parliament. There's an argument to be made against the European Commission, but their power stems only from what the member states have decided to grant them in the past.
Also, since the Lisbon Treaty the EU has made a significant push to strenghten democratic foundations; by enabling citizens to submit 'initiatives' to the commission (there's some requirements, but when they are met the commission has no choice but to look at them), by giving more power to the European parliament (which is democratically elected) and by giving more power to the national parliaments of the member states.
Also, ACTA is probably never going to make it through.

You do know who lord monckton is, right?
Populist rubbish.
Also, he doesn't provide any arguments to contradict my claims in any way. Educate yourself instead of blindly believing the first silly youtube video that you can find. Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's true.

The funny thing is it's not the united states itself trying to get this bills to run, it's the entertainment business companies like EA and Viacom, Europeans you guys aren't too far from suffering from the same fate as us, just look at germany they shut down grooveshark
.
Pirate parties are on the rise in most European countries that enacted this type of legislation, such parties wouldn't even be possible in the US 2-party system. I think European citizens stand a far better chance in fighting this (both on a national and a european level) than the supposedly freedom-loving citizens of the US of A

"Democratic wonderland" lololololololol? Was the meaning of this sentance some kind of mystery to you "European nations at least have a semblance of a democracy"?
Anyway the European parliament is far from happy about how the negotiations have taken place and the policylaundering nature of it.

Actually ACTA passed in the United States, Japan and Australia but NOT in the European Union.
and ACTA is exactly like SOPA except that it has some even worse things like complete surveillance of the internet.
SOPA was probably just a diversion so they could pass an even worse bill.
