Hehe, AMPM increase the light JUST a little. I think that would look better in like an early morning setting (5-6AM anyone?). You might want to change the default texture from the tall grass to mixed, but that's just me. Other than that, add splats and you're golden. The layout is great.
Mind your bottom OOB area, add some more fields etc.

Great map, but its extremely dark. Maybe make it twilight instead of complete darkness, or early morning or something like that.

I have come to kinda of not like this map over time, in ten+ games on it i have never seen the team that holds the center get dislodged from the center i think over all it is very heavly def favored map, the only 2 games i have seen the attacking player win was when it was 3v3 with the top allied attacking with caliope suppurt and when a tiger was was brought out on the axis side against two low experience companies.i have found its almost impossible to flank in the town because almost all the building have a ton of windows in every direction so once one team gets them garrisoned well its just time to reteat.

This map needs to be fixed for OF. It is WAAAAYY to dark now. I don't know what changed but you can't see a damned thing! AMPM GET ON IT

God, now you have made me all self conscious about my maps. Then again I think it would have a tangible effect on performance if I add any more splats to The Tulip Fields..... and if I never look at/play Chassille Outskirts again it would be to soon.
Is it normal to end up hating the maps you create, because you spent WAY to much time looking at them during the creation/testing process?

Haha, a little. I prefer to play on other people's maps because they feel more fresh. But that's why we need a group of mappers, so that we can all play eachother's maps.

It has nothing to do with my monitor. It worked fine pre OF and now even when points are captured, there is little no 0 light on the map. Before you could at least see the houses a little...

Oh I know it has no splats and splines, oh well, I'm sure it beats most first maps (didn't even make a trial before that one)
