Unkn0wn, I'm almost there! Can you help figure out why my weather settings don't work? I made the .options file and put in two weather settings and they show up in the game. But when I get the same lighting no matter whether I select day or night. Also, how do you get the *_base.tga and *_slots.tga to have transparent areas? I used rails and metal as my guide and the .tga for that has a brown sort of color. So I set the empty space on mine to that color. But in game, rails and metal shows up as transparent, while mine shows up as ugly brown. The .sgb version is linked here: http://files.filefront.com/4p+crossroadszip/;9246064;/fileinfo.htmlNote: I will check replies during the day, but won't be able to access worldbuilder until friday night.

Don't know about the weather options(both night time settings??) but what I did to make the base/slots .tga was open the .mm file in Gimp and copy over the circles from some of the official maps over to the spawn places for my map... then added some numbers for the slots file... so I had a plain .mm, circles on base and circles + numbers on slots not sure what you want transparent.

1. You don't need a Crossroads_map.tga file, you need Crossroads_map_base & Crossroads_map_slots only . 2. Fixed your Map preview images, they're attached 3. Fixed your weather. When you pack your sga, make sure you use Corsix so the weather file is included . (See my guide) [attachment deleted by admin]

Thanks, Unk0wn! How did you fix the weather? The .options file looks the same as the original.

Great to know the map leader is helping others figure out how to do weather.

I remade the file & put your map on mp_Sturzdorf as standard. It worked .

So how do I set up two weather settings, each with transitions?

Yes, I saw that one, it is very useful. But the one thing I'm still not clear on is how to set up transitions using the .options file.
I know that in the atmosphere screen within worldbuilder I could set up a transition of three weather settings so that, for example, dusk turns to night and then turns into stormy night. But how do I make two sets of multi-weather transitions and make them selectable in-game? So like the dusk-night-rain is one option and say dawn-mid-day-rain is a second option? Is there a way to do that?

Once you set up a transition in the worldbuilder, you need to save your new settings as a new "atmosphere". (In a name.aps file). Then you simply use that .aps file in the .options file.

Ah, very good. And you have to pack the new .aps file in "\\Company of Heroes\WW2\Data\Art\Scenarios\Presets\Atmosphere"?
