Also if anything, supporting immigration these days is a sure way not to get votes with how nationalistic people have gotten in many countries. But leftist parties support it nonetheless, because of moral and economical reasons...

Exactly, what were they thinking? Let's just drop off this boatload of immigrants with no prior education and have them run rampart in society and live off unemployment checks. No, but seriously there needs to be integration, they need the opportunity to get proper education and be integrated into the workforce, otherwise immigration just leads to more crime, higher unemployment, greater poverty and higher state expenses unless of course you do like the US and exploit your illegal workers while stealing expert workers from other countries that need them the most via legal immigration, like doctors from South America or IT experts from India. Which is what Sweden are leaning against currently, skilled immigration instead of refugee immigration. The statistics are pretty bad. 50% of immigrants are unemployed and 50% of prisoners serving 4 years or more terms are immigrants. The Swedish state has obviously failed to brainwash them into exemplary citizens or at least offer them better opportunities to work and study.
