I've just been thinking for the last few days, how good would it be to have another 2v2 team competition? The last one seemed to bring back members and add a more competitive aspect via a tournament to the community, with winners possibly grabbing reward points as well as bragging rights etc etc. Teams sign up, maps and opponents are chosen by random, or a neutral referee, maybe give level 5 or level 7 companies out and so on.

Who would like to do this again?

I was thinking about that too actually, would really enjoy it.
However with the next doctrines being released and the warmap beta coming close, now is probably not the best timing. It'd be ideal to organise once everything calms down a bit in terms of development (I suppose we really should have held one already)

Ultimately it all depends on how big the interest is, and if we can truly get people together to finish a tournament in just 1 -2 days max. Our last tournament was a failure because there were no set times to play your matches. The ONLY way a next tournament will work is if we set a weekend, set fixed hours for the first brackets and make sure everyone who signs up is sure they can participate at that given time (and entire weekend) and has the needed time. Just like with the vCOH tournaments

We'd also need incentives, rewards and such.


I'm up for organising something like this, just not sure now is the best time.
