Database for versions of EiR2

Now that EiR2 is coming, I was wondering if it's possible to create database for (upcoming) "older" versions of EiR2 as the new versions comes out and mod gets updated?
Where I aim with this is, that if you've played epic game and have the replay of it, you can't watch it if the patch comes out and you update your mod.
When you preserve replay and add info of which version it was played in, you can watch it even after longer time by downloading the right version of the mod from database and install it.
