Since my work place has quietened down, i am able to make changes to the mod. I for one, don't want to see it die in its current state. Not at all. After seeing that quite a few people were in the launcher this morning, the changes i could make to the mod would actually be enjoyed. So, with Niko busy, or burned out, i shall be taking over coding.

Now for the more serious bit.

I have already talked to tank and we both want to see the mod move forward and improve. I have agreed to be speedy and vigilant with anything that breaks or ruins game play. I'm also in no way taking over this mod. This mod is still Tanks and EIRRmods baby. I'm just here to code and help. I apologize beforehand if i seem like I'm taking over, this is not my place. Tank has the final say on everything and anything. 

I don't owe any of you anything. Except for tank, Niko and EIRRmod. Code changes shall ultimately be mine, tanks and Nikos decision. Without a balance team, and no possible way of getting one, i shall implement changes as the team sees fit. This means the community will be involved in balancing the mod. On one hand, you can see what to expect with upcoming patches. On the other, we are relying on all of you to be mature and level headed about this. I know for some of you it is impossible, Schmidt is still floating around, so beware.
Different peoples words will carry more wight than others. I don't apologize for this, some people are just better at balance than others.

There a 4 threads designated to each faction, for their units and doctrines. Please put all suggestion there so they can be sorted and discussed. Should a unit or doctrine need to be discussed at length, please make a specific thread, or i will.  

Oh yes, and I'm not here to overhaul the doctrines. You want it overhauled, design it yourself, have it peer reviewed, code it and approved by the team. I shall be making small tweaks and small changes.

Help me to help you basically. I think that's all....

On a serious note:

Do we have spot for overall items - not faction specific?

I would like to suggest we remove doctrine abilities from all reward units. Re-balance them to be effective without doctrines.
