I just picked up this game during the weekend for around $12, the normal price is in $20
It reminds me a lot running with rifles, but instead of primarily combat you can also forgo getting your head shot off and choose to go the backline route, where you can gather supplies, refine the materials, use the materials to create crates of weapons/ammo/radios/binoculars/mortars/howizter ammo/light tanks/etc to drop off at the frontline. Or simply have someone else gather and then you can take the materials to then build defensive structures for your faction.
There's one big server, and two factions wage a persistent war across multiple maps until the war ends (ie in real time one month from once it starts) or until one side wins, and controls all required victory locations.
Very neat, very fun game, unfortunately before you join the big war you have to do the 40v40 skirmish to get to level 8 right now, since they are a bit capped on server space due to the influx of players so they put up a stopgap in the meantime. I would definintely check it out.
