Randomly dissapearing units

I have noticed in some of the battle sI have had that whne the battles have reported I am missing random units. Last game I gota vet 2 mortar, gone. It has happen frequenlty with M10s, and sometimes AB squads. These are units I know made it off map, nto ones I think made it.

Was just wondering if anyone else hadsnoticed this or if its just an excepted bug.
