Can maps from vcoh can they be made to fit into eir?

I have Operation Baytown for my vCoH and I will have to say this map will be WAY to vast for a game of EIR.

Baytown is huge, but it could be eir epic, it would suck defending though, you'd get halfway and the enemy would be attacking. Looks epic though.........very epic.

blackforrest was converted for eir along with the rhineland by cam 51, but the map was so huge that people hated it and cam51 quit eir Sad

If Baytown is to be converted, it sectors are going to be needed to be divided by alot and maybe going to need less detail in order for lower end comps to play the map at all.

And the permission of the player who made it would be needed. But baytown has some promise imo.

Baytown is a paradise for defensive play, you guys seriously want a map with only 2 choke points in EIR? if so I'll make some cluster-fuck maps just for you guys.

TEXAS has converted a lot of maps for EiR actually, but they all have been so large or odd that none of them have worked.   Sad

I though about converting baytown, but like some of the comments have mentioned, the map is very detailed, and the amount of water just makes things worse for low powered computers. It would be great for defence, but attacking would probably be hell. The big problem with most of my maps is that they are to big for EiR most maps I have converted have gone from 4p maps to 6p maps.
