Yes Days, its avoidable if you look nowhere else ever but on the units it will shoot at. But if you do anything other than keep your screen hovering over them they are dead.

As I was saying though, make Rocket Barrage drop in the same amount of time, and we'll see how the Allied players like it. I'm sure the whining will be a thing of beauty.

It was hard but not impossible, hence why it wasn't hotfixed and all allied players didn't have 200 game win streaks.

I actually think the arty doesn't need such a reduction in cooldown, maybe 2 sec, but statements like 'its impossible to avoid' are simply not true.

This is just stupid, it has nothin to do with their win rate, its still only 5 shots; its not avoidable and it makes it an uphill battle but its not a game winner by itself.

Technically if Allies have a 46% win rate, then Axis have a 54% win rate (46+54=100), therefore the difference would actually be 8%. (smartass)

I don't think thats very correct either. If allies and axis play 100 games and axis win 54 of them it means they win 17% more then the allies.

Back on topic I think that Schultz is wrong, I play Airborne and I have Air Superiority. I always use everyone of my planes and still frequently find myself wishing I got more. It's fairly often I find myself facing MGs backed up by a PAK or those cheap schreks covering axis superior mortars, and in this situation I have to use my planes to be able to start an offensive. The warning on the bombingrun is plenty, if you have a big unit like a King Tiger or a Panther on the field you should be watching it and when you see the smoke you can avoid the bombs. Maybe not always and maybe not completely but hell it's my T4 ability do you think you get to counter it easily everytime?

When it comes to Howitzers and Off-map it can't be that different. And it's not very that SPAMable either, you get like 5 barrages? that's not even one every 10 minutes in a 1 hour game...

I have to go because I've done my hours at work. But trust me I'll be back Smiley

1sec OMA was avoidable and there were hundreds of replays showing as much but this is irrelevant.

Arty is not the problem it would seem. Spam is the problem. Whether it by howi spam, stug spam, calli spam, mg 42 spam.

***** As much as I don't like arty myself, I can't support the OP here. CoH has given the allies arty as a counter to the axis. The allies don't have a lot of the units that the axis have. Or do you want to start seeing stealth rangers? rocket halftracks?

Sorry, blitz is very powerful, especially on the attack. I personally think its the best axis doctrine in the game. How in the world can you be complaining about arty? Does it require less skill to use? you bet. But then on the other hand, they can't roll a tiger up, or have powerful stealth squads infiltrate your lines. They don't have common infantry with great AT abilities. And other than a shorter ranged mortar, have no indirect fire units unless its doctrine specific.

That difference is what makes the game fun...frustrating too, but still fun. If you hate going up against arty so much, switch to allies. Then, don't use any arty and I'm sure your games will be fun again.

I agree the allies need some sort of way of OMFGPWNFERYTHING gun like we do Cheesy I mean we have the KCH sturmtruppen Strumgeweher(sp) Kts Tigers Panthers we have tons of great stuff Cheesy they need something.

Nebelwerfers are fine; they are one of the best all around artillery. If anything, they should get a price increase.

Stukas are expensive because they only take 5 pop. This makes them extremely pop efficient.

Howitzers just need a slight cost increase and maybe a slight pop increase (By slight, I mean 2-3 not all the way up to 16 pop)

Howitzers aren't even half that, are they ?

Nebels aren't worth it, too short range and too easy to de-man and too high cost.

tbh i would not use 2 howwys in my company (which is not spam) and replace them with shermans or such like but whats the point they do more damage and get more kills than my shermans why? because regular shrek prices are 2 cheap.... offmap well? unless ur not paying attention ur troops will die if u are then u move them outwards you might lose 3men in the squad but enough to retreat and @wolster whats the point in getting close to ur units with my rifles when they get beaten by almost anything bar volks unless they have mp40s the only thing i would attempt to attack you with is my rangers and even then i almost always never get them offmap....

The vet was same as vanilla at the end of the last war, thats why Allies dominated. The vet is much different now.

What makes people say "only artillery can stop axis" ?
And what makes them arti spam ?
