Couple ides:

First: officer/command squad type unit that comes out at the start of the battle. Either have it as a single ie: axis officer unit or just take that unit and add some volks around him to for a squad. For allies a rifle squad with an altered skin on the radio guy.

Idea being that the officer would come out at the start of the round. NO pop for him free unit. This unit would be required on the battle field to call in    other platoons and cp abilities. If the officer/command squad dies the team DOES NOT lose the battle but loses the ability to call in reinforcements or cp abilities.

Second idea would be to have a rifle squad have a upgraded abilitiy to see cloaked units within a certain radius. Munitions cost would have to be high for balance say 200-500 munitions.

I like the idea of allied getting another revealing unit, but that cost is pretty high.  There are tons of stealthed axis units, but only a single Allied unit, there should be a better counter balance for this.  Give the allies another unit that can reveal stealth.

Yeh, i think the allies definatly need some defense against stealth.
And the commanders would be cool, maybe once the war starts could also have the Commanders model (use SP campaign models) and the guys in the squad and their strength, change depending on the players rank.

I like the idea of that officer being you (your presence on the field physically) :0.

Well u guys think that the stealth is annoying try being axis and getting artillery raped. You know your dead when you hear a calliope going off... But To at least be somewhat productive, For allies to see stealth units, maybe a Scout squad of 3 men armed with M1 Garands and its upgrade is Binoculars which allows it to see farther but the binoculars cannot see cloaked men. The unit should automatically be able to see cloaked units.

More Ideas for the command squad.

Forefall :Unfortunately, the game is not setup to make the officer a true command unit, with auras or enhancement abilities.

With that in mind give it such abilities. Say higher resistance to pinning, accuracy increase, faster reload rates ect ect.

How to counter stealthed stormtroopers:

Take a depleted rifle squad or a Jeep, and shift-click a meandering patrol pattern about 20 times. Refresh the patrol pattern every 2 min. or so.
