A tribute to all the men and women who struggled, bled, and died to end a tyrannical, bloody regime. That's what this series is. It really makes you wonder how the hell they fought and won under conditions unknownst to most of us...

May they rest in peace.

It was a very good miniseries. They are coming out with one on the Pacific War, too. Hope they do a good job on it.

To add to the nuisance of Band of Brothers is its title, its stolen from a William Shakespeare play about Henry V before the Battle of Agincourt...

That...was probably...the point.

Exactly. They lost. And they won. Though it must be said that they gave everyone a hell of a time, even though they lost in the end.

The play speech (Henry V) talks about the comradeship found in battle due to trying times. That's BoB, all right.
