Okay, so my computer won't turn on. Last night the stupid thing woke me up in the middle of the night by turning on all of the sudden, probably for defragging or something (it does this all the time, but usually its @ 6-9 a.m., times i set when i'm not home). Well, I'm tired and don't bother to look at the problem so i just turn the power off on the back of the computer.
Now I'm back, the day after, and the stupid computer won't start. I've tried everything.
The mobo LED light is on. Pressing the power, however, results in no results. The power LED and light and power switches are all connected. Nothing happened besides me pressing power off then turning the power back on today.
On opening the computer today, though, it smelled a little weird. Like, not a coppery-smell when you computer overheats, but more like some 'o shit something bad happened' smell. Like a burn smell, i guess.
Any clue on how i can fix this without having to buy a 4th new psu?
If you need an incentive to help me, think about it this way: As soon as my computer is fixed, axis start losing again!
