As our community grows and the mod progresses, I believe it might be a good idea to look into the alternatives of drawing some more players to the mod. And shoutcasts are most likely one of the better ways in doing this as they as they turn replays into a much more exciting feature.
(And allows them to be better used for promotional ends.)

Gamereplays has a ton of people who do shoutcasts so surely among the 600+ members our community has, there might be some talented players when it comes down to shoutcasting.

I can only encourage people to give it a try!

Feel free to post them in this replay forum section ofr the time being if you do want to give it a try.
All you need is a lovely voice, the ability to speak english and enough time to cover a whole replay.

I'll consider doing one soon, but I need a really good replay of 1.6b with 1.6 patch now I guess.

Hehe, i'm looking for a good replay of 1.6C here as well. I  almost shoutcasted yours, but my microphone was muted and didn't record any of what i was saying - was good practice though.

you should post a link to the shoutcast in the actual post about the replay, should make things easier.  They can get the replay files from the link and then go strait to the replay to DL it.

Best if you just make a new post with all the needed files.

(Since most replays they shoutcast will not have been on the forums yet.)
