dam they finnaly got a moddle in game. first orignal modle i have ever seen in CoH. how did they do this when relic has yet to release moddling tools?
o ya when did apex go to the easter front mod

IIRC, you can sorta get animations to work by using ones already ingame. So something like the rotating wheels might borrow their animations from a Opel Blitz truck. Obviously, for something like the Katyusha this might work fine...but for something like a T-34 or IS-2 the Object Editor is necessary to make your own animations.

I thought you meant the big glowy tank. Those if I had to guess look like the Opel blitz with the rear end taken off and a calliope launcher stuck on. I'm no modler, but you can jerry rig models together and they'll be animated but if you import your own custom made unit it won't animate (due to lack of OE)

I've been there for half a year now. And we are on the verge of figuring out how to animate completely new models.

Lol Akra i didnt outburst in any way I'd just like to have all these news in the same forum section, they are spread out over 3 sub forums right now mainly because of moderator movement.

so you have finnaly figured it out, i know three mods that just need your animation info and they can release in a week (CoH modern combat, Great war mod (WWI) mainly) if your mod has truly figured this out then well you just pritty mutch craked the largest obstical in CoH modding.
