IRC chat always used to work for me but now it doesnt..java pop up comes up and its blank so i wait and it never loads its just blank..then when i x it out the chat says java security blah blah blah...and then it gets all funky and graphics start to flash and stuff

get mIRC. Its free (even though it says 30 day trial after it expires when you start it up it lets you use it anyway after 5 seconds)
