Would you ever consider making a mod like EiR for DoW2? I think it would be sweet.

it would be a massive improvement on DoW2 if something like that did happen. Honestly apart from nids being added in the game generally isn't that good at all and wasn't worth the money i spent on it. They do have some nice improvements over DoW1 but they're doing that stupid marketing thing again and with holding races for "Expansion Packs"

Some advice to those who haven't played it yet, wait 1 yr so modders have time to improve it before getting it.

The thing you gotta remember Skyblazer is that if you ever played the original release of DoW1 it was utter shit aswell, it was the release of expansions that gave then the chance to rebalance things or improve features, as patching something like that into a game is often times very disruptive to the community. Something major changed with each expansion of DoW1 and I'm talking more then just the factions you could play. You'll see the same thing with DoW2, consider it an investment in your future.(of course they will only get 1 or 2 expansions out by the time Guild wars 2 releases-or goes beta) I still play dow2 but I'm taking a break untilt he ladder fleshes itself out, as it is now it's far to easy to beat most players and i've already played and beaten half the top 20

na i dont think all of DOWII is shit, the campain its self though a bit repetative was quite fun and imersing. multiplayer though was a disapointment but i love the feature for CO-OP campain and acces to my xbox live acconte via my computer. overall though not better than EiR it for me beats both the CoH, and DoW  in single player experance.

i agree though multiplayer is shitty as all you must do is apam dreadnoughts and you win...

I don't know who you've been playing but if all you do is spam dreadnoughts then they must be crappy. Not only are dreads expensive on resources and population but they are slow as hell and don't capture points

man what i did not like was this:

1. it ends so quickly.

So few units and no base building is good, but it does not give it so much variety.

Even though they announce more stuff is coming i don't believe it can be major changes.

It ends with that you see the same build/units over and over again. (man had a exarch build that was the bomb) (til they put a got damn cost on the portals (that made me quit the damn game)

So short: i am buying etw and forgetting this game.

It is very good but not really special.
