i think u got that wrong games guy rommel was actually a very good tactician i mean if he wasn't wtf who the hell commanded the germans in the desert against larger british forces.

oh and u got to remember that the russians did get alot of british and american equipment like aircraft and tanks etc.

Strategist =/= Tactican

He could suck as strategist but could be great tactican.

It's something like macro and micro you can suck at macro but rock at micro, I think you get my point.

Rommel was a great Tactican, he was a terrible strategist.  He vastly over-extended himself in north Africa and eventually got himself into a massive set piece battle with poor logistics while the Brits had their supplies sitting next door.   The result was a disaster for the German army.

Yeah it's true - Rommel's brilliance was maneuver and tactics, not strategy. His only good move was heading out, against orders, to seize an initiative (tactically) in a strategic sense. Once that initial success wore off he maneuvered himself right into a head-to-head battle of attrition against stalwart British defenses. The result was disasterous, needless to say, when he had no room for maneuver at El Alamein and then had to retreat back to his supply lines, then further and further westward.

 Hitler never wanted war with England thats why he let them go at Dunkirk and sent feelers out to try to come to peace terms it was Churchill who wanted war or the money that was backing him I should say...

 Why do you think Rudolf Hess flew to try to bring peace with England ...

 England did not listen to the warnings and looked what happened to them they lost everything that was left of the Great British empire after WW2..
