Needs accuracy buff, it never hits anything and rarely penetrates tanks so that makes it useless at everything.

From experience, if the tank is sitting still, it can *Reasonably* snipe single infantry per shot.
Apart from that, about all it's useful for is the occasional support team clearing via method of lolwut flankspeed rush past thier AT and hope the 1/4 of health you have left is enough to kill that mortar crew so your infantry can keep working.
I dont even bother using it against anything bigger than a HT vehicle wise. Even then the bloody thing has a habit of missing AC's too much to effectively hunt them.

Only on the move, if you stop to shoot it will hit pretty well. The penetration on the other hand... same for churchill though.

Your right, accuracy on the still is alright Baine... But have you ever tried to actively hunt down an AC with a Cromwell?
Having to stop the moment you think you can pull off a shot just lets them zoom away. At most you get one or two hitting shots... Which usually isnt enough to kill them. It's an old fingers crossed for engine damage.
Penetration just makes me facepalm. I still cringe when two of my Cromwell's engage a single PIV w/Skirts.
Isnt the Cromwell supposed to be the Brit mainline tank? The "Supposed" equal to the PIV and the Sherman in terms of usage?

most british tanks have a higher moving accuracy penalty than the other factions

Does anything counter that? like higher acc standing still?
The flank speed is great and really does much in vcoh but here...well and with that moving acc its ''bah''

with CCTs and flank speed might as well go nuts on them. Cromwells are quite useless, maybe a penetration buff would be a starter or even recieved penetration. It takes pretty much maximum damage from everything lol.

Gun has the same still accuracy as a 75mm Sherman, shoots faster.
It's fine if you're using it in long range sniping attacks, but it doesn't brawl as well as the Sherman, which is interesting because it's the original overdrive tank.

The only reason some cromwells hit well sittin still is probably due to Desert Rats, he's specifying about none doctrinal buffs towards cromwells

Mal why are you so hellbent on creating a fuss about allied tanks. We want a fair balanced game yet i've never seen you on an allied account, its all well and good saying whats good on papaer and referring to stats, but until you've played with the units you'll see what it's really like.

Cromwells should definitely also be used in a RE company, because of desert rats.

Two's on a hot streak tonight! Got that right! But I think he's got a point with this one, my experiences with Cromwell tanks have been god awful (I went from having about 4 of the suckers in my company to having one).

I like my Cromwell's as they are, I'd rather save the fuel and have a slightly less good anti-infantry ability while moving.
