There is literally no warning on this ability currently.   Red smoke drops, 0.5 seconds later the rockets have landed on your head.

Not exactly balanced...

It worked the same as a normal bombing run for me... :\

I guess it all depends on the angle.

there's no warning on strafes either, but nobody's whining about that...the infantry get hit, then the plane comes onscreen...

Because the commando bombing run has more in common with the bombing run then the strafe?

No offmap should have zero warning or be undodgeble, its just bad gameplay.   Offmaps should punish you for not paying attention or to kill support weapons, not as an instant "I win" button.   I dislike sector arty, precision arty, FOO, and strafe as well.
