I noticed in a recent replay is that "Lit Up" isn't all that great. It is suppose to "Light up medium area and increased incoming accuracy on enemy on radius, on cooldown". However, it doesn't "Lit Up" much at all (Small area) and the debuff area is pretty small.

What are the exact debuff stats anyways?

Last checked (by lem not me) it's also affecting allied units.

i think it's the same as mark target like a 20-25% accuracy buff.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

The debuff area has to be small, because during testing if the radius was too big; it affected your own troops as they were in the range of the Lit Up to be able to fire their weapons

Well, what about the LOS it gives? It very small for whats suppose to be a "Medium" area, my (T1 buffed) Recon Sections can see further then that!

Well, the LOS is a secondary advantage of the flare, the primary is the accuracy buff.

Well, I guess you guys better change your Doctrine description for RCA again.

I was really excited to get this ability too, but after seeing how it actually preforms..... I will probably get some other T2 ability instead.

Well, I'm sorry our hard work disappointed you.

It's not like we can't improve it.

Well, I'm just pointing out it doesn't seem worth it with the other T2 abilities in RCA.

IMO I think you should make it main attraction it ability to "Lit up" a medium area of the FOW with it accuracy debuff a little extra tossed in.

Lit up is very good T2.

1. It is free.
2. It is on cooldown (short one)
3. It provides line of sight.
4. It gives enemy negative cover. Or negative cover for you if you have problems with axis flame rush.
5. Coupled with T2 improved rifling and T1 binoculars ir provides huge antiinfantry potencial. With several officers on field you can lit up enemy postions very often... and make them eat mortar shells or improved rifles rounds.

All in all it very nice and trully arty thematic doctrine ability. Lear to use it.

I use it.  I particularly like to use it against enemies in heavy cover, where they don't want to leave.  It's a solid and effective way to even the score a little.  And, of course, if they leave, then I can just gun them down in the open.  Grin
