At this current moment, the AB medics are a 2-man AB team with no fireup. After locking down they begin to heal at quite a fast rate. They can relocate very quickly but the cooldown to lock down once again is insanely long.

This essentially makes them at the current moment into a triage that costs more manpower and less munitions, and more pop cap, with the option to run away, but be unusable for the next few minutes.

Which is....what's the point in terms of differentiation?

US Triage - Fast healing, expensive, static.
CW CCS - Fast healing, cheap, static, on cooldown.
PE Scoutcar - Half mobile/static, slow healing.
WM medkits - Decentralised healing, slow, individual, combat use.

There's not much point in adding a AB medic team that basically mimics the US triage, or perhaps the PE scout car. I thought the original idea added some flavour and makes sense in that medics are on the front line, whereas treatment stations are in the rear.

I'd suggest AB medics keep their healing aura on at all times, making them a combat option, but reduce the healing to like 10% the rate of a triage's healing.

No the change is good. Have them somewhere safe and heal up quickly, and escape offmaps.

I like the way they work now. Set up a little behind the front lines, moving as the front moves... The cooldown is long, yeah, but it's still very nice to be able to move them. Of course, they pay for this by being very easily killed.
